Saint Zopito Memorial

The procession of Saint Patron of Loreto Aprutino.

A child dressed as an angel rides an ox, a piper blows his bag-piper at right side of the animal. The people follow him riding their horses.

From the square of the village the ox reaches “del Baio“ lane, and once arrived behind the “S. Peter Apostle” Church, falls down on his knees, keeping up the ancient tradition since the far 1711.
